Description

Looking through a stack of sketches, I came across this one and realized I hadn't uploaded it [to DA] the time it was drawn. The reason being that it doesn't matter what I do or how good I initially believe something I draw is, anytime I flip an image over it looks well, terrible. It's something that no matter how hard I try, I could never change or fix in anyway, as well as why at the time, it looked too terrible (when flipped over) to submit. In digital art it's easy to flip the picture I'm working on back and forth and notice as well as attempt to fix the mistakes, but on paper...not so.

I wonder what that is though.... I've asked people before but all they could suggest is what I've always been doing, flipping the image over. But for once I'd like to draw without the knowledge that what I'm working on in truth looks awkward. I don't turn my head when I draw, I usually sit straight.... And this is most certianly not something everyone has, as I've tried flipping the works of complete amaterus over. Feel free to give me your input on this.

That aside though, I'm rather attached to this picture. It's been very long since I've drawn anyone from Death's Promenade, a project I wish I could be working on right now. But alas...practice is needed first. I do so miss this evil bastard though....
